CLEMENTINA AISUENI, FCIPM Vice President

Born to the family of the late Pa Donatus Uduebor of Ehor in Uhumwode Local Government Area of Edo State, March 27, 1953, Mrs. Clementina Isuiwa Aisueni, started her elementary education at Convent Primary School, Sapele, Delta State, (1959-64), attended St. Ita’s Girls Grammar School, Sapele (1965-69); Holy Trinity Grammar School, Sabongida-Ora, (1970-1971) before her tertiary education at the University of Ibadan, (1972-75) where she bagged B.Sc (Hons) Sociology, and was an acclaimed University Scholar, (U.I. 1973). At the University of Lagos she obtained her M.Sc. Political Science (Public Administration) degree and capped it all with the prestigious Certificate in Administration at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) Topo, Badagry, (1986). In the public service, Clem Aisueni’s knowledge and experience paved the way for her steady progress as she became the Head, General Administration/Corporate Affairs and Personnel Division, Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research (NIFOR) (1982-1998), Head of Administration, Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN), Ibadan (1999-2000) and, by the special grace of God, the current Deputy Director, Administration at the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Presidency, Abuja. (2000 to date). She is a prominent member of several Associations/Institutions and professional bodies including the International Inner Wheel Club, the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM). As an active member of the Philanthropic Organization, International Inner Wheel Club, she was a Past President of the International Inner Wheel Club of Uselu, Benin City (1985/86), Past District Chairman International Inner Wheel District 914 (1994/95) She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) (Chartered), an Elected Member of Council (2005 till date), served as the Chairman, 2006 Annual International Management Conference, Member, Membership Committee of Council (1999 – 2001), currently serving as a Member Programmes, NYSC, and Accreditation Sub committees of Council (2005 to date). Mrs. Aisueni is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), and has actively performed and supported the Institute in several capacities Viz: Chairman Edo State Branch where she succeeded in carrying the Branch to enviable heights, (1999-2001), a past Chairman, (CIPM) National Conference Planning Committee, (2002), Member Accreditation Committee, (2003), Member Board of Fellows, (2005-2006) etc and recently elected as the ever First Lady Vice President, (March 2007). She has eleven (11) publications to her credit and has attended several Local and International Management Programmes. She is also a Jerusalem Pilgrim (1995) and a Justice of Peace (JP) Edo State 2001. Happily Married to Dr. Napoleon O. Aisueni, JP, FNIM, blessed with two children, Osakpamwan Michael Aisueni and Dr (Mrs.) Isoken Monica Aikpokpo (nee Aisueni) and a grand daughter Ailohi Osayamen Aikpokpo.
