POSTPONEMENT OF THE 51ST ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
This is to inform you that the CIPM's 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM), originally being planned to hold April 29, 2020, is hereby postponed as a result of the raging COVID-19 pandemic we are all currently facing. The CIPM's Governing Council took this critical decision at an Extraordinary Meeting of Council on Thursday, April 2, 2020, held in line with the stipulations of the Institute's Charter.
This postponement of the AGM will be for an initial period of two (2) months, even as we hope that the impact of the pandemic eases significantly. In addition, we must remain compliant with Government regulations.
Note in addition, that the annual elections, being an integral aspect of matters arising at the AGM, is also likewise being postponed by the same period as the AGM.
Do bear with us and ensure you stay safe by complying with all safety precautions as recommended by health organizations (e.g. NCDC, WHO) and with all government regulations.
We shall send you an update as soon as there is any change.
Wale Adediran, MCIPM
President/Chairman of Governing Council
